Don't bury your tree stumps, kids! This 30 year old court had stumps buried underneath.

They will rot and the ground
will sink.

This sinkhole actually swallowed 1/4 of the fence post.

But now we can show you how durable artificial turf courts are!

We took apart the seams around the sinkholes

We took out the sand and pulled back the turf

Cleaning out the sinkhole rot and debris

There wasnt any rips but it was very dirty so we needed to clean the turf surface

Then filled in the sinkholes, topped with crushed stone and leveled it

Same thing with the corner sinkhole. The portion of fence that was swallowed had to be replaced.

The seams are back together and surface filled with sand
